"There is lots of confidence between the players and a great unity within the team. We want to win the Championship."

Despite his fine form, Becks admits his body is finding it more difficult to recover from matches.

He added: "I'm getting older now, I'm 36-years-old.

"You wake up in the morning and you feel a little bit sorer than when you were 21-years-old."

David has yet to decide his next move after his contract with Galaxy runs out at the weekend.

His family are settled in Los Angeles but he wants to continue playing in the hope of making Great Britain's Olympic squad next year.

Several clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, are believed to be interested in the star.

However QPR have ruled themselves out.
