Report: Everton wants to sign Manchester City's Dedryck Boyata on loan

Everton reportedly wants to sign Manchester City’s Belgian starlet Dedryk Boyata on a season-long loan deal.
Boyata struggled for first-team football last season with an array of defensive talent currently on the books at Manchester City, and it is believed that manager Roberto Mancini is keen to send the youngster out on loan to gain some valuable experience.
Everton has reportedly made an enquiry about signing the defender after Boyata’s father dismissed any possibility of his son being part of a deal that would take Bolton’s Gary Cahill to Eastlands.
Boyata has no intention of joining Owen Coyle’s side, though he has welcomed the reported interest of David Moyes’ Everton.
“There was talk of a swap with Cahill at Bolton, but Dedryck does not want to go there. Everton are showing interest in him as well, and they are very much an option for him,” Bienvenu Boyata said in an article in The Daily Mail.
The 20-year-old defender is thought to have a bright future ahead of him after making the breakthrough at Manchester City, and accordingly should spark plenty of interest for other Premier League clubs keen to take him on loan.
