Fabio Capello blamed fatigue at the end of a long season as England could only draw 2-2 with Switzerland at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.
When asked what was missing, the Italian said: 'In this period, always the energy. You can see the Switzerland players were fresher. They have had a different season.
