Brazilian midfielder Giuliano set them on their way with two first half goals. The first, a stunning header which left the keeper with no chance.
The second was a case of right place at the right time.
Italian defender Domenico Criscito sealed the victory with an excellent third two minutes from the end.
The win took Zenit into third place on nine points.
Amkar Perm, for who this was a first defeat of the season, dropped to fourth, one point behind Zenit
