Bradley Dredge says he is in a very good position after the second round of the Made In Denmark tournament in Farso on Friday - where he leads by three shots from Joakim Lagergren of Sweden.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Bradley Dredge, second round leader:
"Yeah, you try not to think too much about the score but I thought under 70 was going to be a good score out there today, it really was blowing. Approach shots are tough, putting was very difficult to start with. I felt as though the wind died a little bit towards the end but yeah, tough day so obviously delighted with the score."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Bradley Dredge, second round leader:
"Yeah, I was just saying, I had a very strange back nine, a lot of good approach sots and hardly hit a green. So, hit a really good shot at the last, felt as though I picked a number and hit the shot, you know, nowhere near the green again. So I need to improve on that a bit tomorrow but overall, obviously delighted with the score."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Bradley Dredge, second round leader:
"Yeah, I mean halfway through the tournament, I'm obviously in a good position but I know I've got to keep playing aggressive, drive a lot off the tee and keep giving myself as many birdie chances as I can."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Thomas Pieters, tied third:
"Yeah, I made some really good up and downs for par and my ball striking was off today, everything was off today but I got it around in 71 and made some good putts for par which obviously keeps your round going. I'm in a good position this weekend, yeah."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Joakim Lagergren, second place:
(comparing his second round 70 to his course record 62 in the first round)
"I mean it's a different game today. There's not a lot of regular, normal shots out there today - just a few punchy ones and then hit it up in the air when it's downwind."
