Sunderland manager David Moyes looks ahead on Friday (19th August) to the English Premier League trip to Middlesbrough for the Teesside-Wearside local derby.

"Both. Both. It is a big derby game and I also think that it is also a game we have to treat like all the others. At the end of it you only get three points out of winning it.

"Well, I think that Middlesbrough...getting promoted is a great thing and I know they have worked really hard in Steve Gibson, the chairman and owner, has done everything to get them back in the Premier League. The manager done a great job in getting them up. It is not an easy thing to get out of the Championship now and they have strengthened their squad and made quite a lot of signings. So, it will be...we all know it will be a long haul. We are just at the start and we have still got all the winter to go through and get to the end of the season. So, you never know, but I think Middlesbrough have got themselves a strong-looking squad at this present time."
