(on Yannick Bolasie signing for $39 million):
"No, very important. If you play that amount of money for a player that it is really an important transfer. Of course we know about his qualities. Really a long time he was on my list because I think he is that type of striker. Physically strong, he is fast he has pace and a very good mentality. His work rate is high. He gives the team energy. One of the best wingers in the Premier League."

"To have a stronger squad than we have - it is one of our jobs to do is to improve the team. If you think we don't have that type of player in your squad then we will sign that player [...] I spoke to the club to take their time pre-season really to know what we need. We have also young players in the academy and we don't like to stop the improvement of young players and really, what we need we will bring in the team."

"Yeah of course they (West Bromwich Albion) had a great result and I know about my experiences that it is a very tough opponent [...] Maybe the best team maybe out of the set-plays. That's really a nice challenge for us this Saturday."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Ronald Koeman, Everton Manager:
"Seamus (Coleman) is not ready, he is still out. He will be out for another two weeks [...] Romelu (Lukaku) did his first training session this morning without any problem and the same question..that decision I will need to make tomorrow...if he is part of the squad for this Saturday."
