Asian golfers looked ahead on Tuesday (2nd August) to competing at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
SOUNDBITE: (English) S.S.P. Chawrasia, India Olympic men's golf team:(about playing in the Olympics against a Major):
"We can't compare Olympics and a Major. Obviously a Major is a big in one off place and the Olympics is one of the biggest sports I think. Everyone, every player's goal is to play in the Olympics. A Major, sorry the Olympics, is different. In my opinion, Olympics is more bigger."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Siddikur Rahman, Bangladesh Olympic men's golf team:(On being chosen to play in the Olympics)
"It's a different, a different feeling, you know? The whole nation and all media. I got many calls and many emails and they kept calling me. You know, I cannot express myself, but I really..... I really feel proud that and thanks god that god gave me this honour. I really feel proud myself."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Miguel Tabuena, Philippines Olympic men's golf team:(about playing in the Olympics against a Major):
"It's a different. I guess it's a different feeling. I mean I would say I wouldn't want to win a medal more than a Major championship. But it would still go down in the history of the Philippines sporting history that because the last time we won a medal was 20 years ago in boxing and it would be nice to win another medal for the Philippines. And I hope I get it done."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Adilson da Silva, Brazil Olympic men's golf team:(On what it would mean to win an Olympic medal at home):
"Wow man, so special. With so may players also going obviously the game's going to be tough. But yeah man, in this game you never know. I'm playing well. I'm feeling confident and that (a medal) would be the cherry on the top. I think it's going to be quite special."
