Tom Watson gave his thoughts on golf's inclusion in the Olympic Games on Sunday.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Tom Watson (Q: What are your thoughts on golf at the Olympics?):
"I am old school, I think the Olympic Games is based on the sports of track and field, I don't think golf fits in that formula. I see the benefits of having golf in the Olympics and I think one of the most disappointing things that happened in the Olympics is when they included the professionals, they said 'well nobody wants to see the amateurs competing, they want to see the best athletes compete'. They have their own tours, they have their own places to go, but the amateurs trying to get to be the best, I agree with Gary (Player) in that respect, it should be an amateur event in the Olympics, amateurs from around the world play in it."
