Reaction after the second round of the Scottish Open on Friday (8th July) with Sweden's Alex Noren holding a one-shot lead at the midway stage.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Eddie Pepperell:
"Well I've driven the ball better. I actually changed coach three or four weeks ago and we've been working hard on that. My driving had to get better. I felt for a while, probably since I've been out here that was the main thing that held me back...stopped me you could say winning, so I felt I needed to address it. Particularly as this year it got uncontrollably bad. My driving has improved, I'm getting the ball in play every hole in the first two days and generally when I do that I score fairly well because the rest of my game tends to I would consider (be) my strength so pleased with that side of things. I've just got to do it for two more days."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Padraig Harrington:
"Very happy any time you're breaking 70 is good. Didn't play quite as well as yesterday. Little bit more tentative today. I'm happy with my game and where it's at. I'm seeing good things in my game and now I'm seeing some good scores with it. Which is a good time of the year for playing well."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Graeme McDowell:
"Happy with that effort obviously. No doubt we were on the correct side of the draw if you like. The guys yesterday and this afternoon and certainly this afternoon got the tougher part of the draw. The wind looked like it was going to subside at lunch time but it didn't and switched direction and got strong again. I didn't think it was particularly easy this afternoon. But, they moved some tees forward and gave you half an opportunity in places and I controlled the ball well, hit a lot of fairways and hit some nice shots. So I was pretty happy with the way I played."
