Raphael Jacquelin, Henrick Stenson and Kiradech Aphibarnrat share the halfway lead on eleven under par at the BMW International Open in Pulheim, Germany on Friday (24th June).
There was some spectacular golf on show at the Golf Club Gut Laerchenhof in Pulheim, Germany on Friday, in the second round of the BMW International Open.
It all begun with this stunning 3-iron from Jaco Van Zyl at the 12th from 212 yards.
The ball rolling in for an eagle two.
Then, ever the shot maker, Sergio Garcia went one better.
Despite this Garcia finished with a double bogey and sits in fifteenth along Jaco Van Zyl at five under par.
There's a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard at the halfway stage.
Thailand's Kiradech Aphibarnrat went out in 34 - three under par - and then played a brilliant back nine which included an eagle at the 13th to come home in 30.
He's joined by the overnight leader Raphael Jacquelin of France.
Jacquelin dropped his first shot of the week, but still went out in 34 and added two more birdies on his way back to the clubhouse.
Henrik Stenson hit a near-flawless round, with seven birdies. He'll be looking to improve on his already impressive four top 10s in seven European Tour events this season.
A seven under par 65 put him amongst the top trio, but just six shots cover the top 22 players going into the weekend.
