Sergio Garcia, Fabrizio Zanotti and Alex Cejka discussed their Olympic hopes and fears on Wednesday.
SOUNDBITE (English): Sergio Garcia (on whether he feels positive about golf in the Olympics):
"I am, but obviously I have some worries, I'm not going to lie to you. Obviously there are security issues and I would like them to be taken care of, and then obviously there is the Zika virus which is never fun, but other than that I am excited about it. If nothing goes wrong between here and the time to go, we should be fine."
SOUNDBITE (English): Fabrizio Zanotti, 2014 BMW International Open champion (on whether he is looking forward to Olympics):
"Yes, a lot, I mean to have that new experience for us I think is great, for the golfers you know, it's going to be our first year for a long time. I think everybody is pretty excited about the Olympics, I am too. I just want to be there and live that new sensation for us, the opening ceremony, those kinds of things, the Olympic village with all the athletes there. So I think it's going to be a great experience."
SOUNDBITE (English): Alex Cejka (on threat of Zika virus at Olympics in Rio):
"Yes, I've heard it, it's a little bit tricky, a lot of the guys in the (United) States, I've talked to a couple of players who of course are a little bit worried, you know, but a lot of guys have already pulled out in the past, I think even Rory (McIlroy) pulled out today. From what I've heard it's going to be tricky but I will maybe have the opportunity only once in my lifetime and I'm almost at the end of my career, so if I am nominated (for Olympics) I would definitely go."
