Post-game reaction after the Golden State Warriors beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 108-101 in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma on Saturday (28 May).
SOUNDBITE (English): Steve Kerr, Golden State Warriors Head Coach (On win):
"Well, obviously, Klay Thompson was ridiculous. I mean, the shooting was some of the most incredible shooting you'll ever see. I mean, I think he set a record for threes. But our defense was fantastic. We kept getting stops and we couldn't get the board, but we stayed with it. I think we just defended really well and came up with key stops. And obviously, Steph (Stephen Curry) and Klay (Thompson) were both really rolling there in the fourth."
SOUNDBITE (English): Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors Guard (On his game):
"I know I got good looks in those first few minutes of the game. And we all really, really didn't want this to be our last game. And me and Steph (Stephen Curry), we got to hunt out our shot. When I'm not out there being aggressive and just not really trying to make my shot effective. So it's just one of those nights where you make a few easy looks early, and then you take those 30 footers with your feet not set, and they just happen to keep going in. I was just trying to stay aggressive."
SOUNDBITE (English): Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors Guard (On what performance says about team):
"We got a lot of belief and heart. And we've given ourselves a chance to win the series. That's all we can ask for. It was obviously a lot of excitement but we still have one job to do. So the way we played tonight shows who we are and we have one more opportunity to impose our will in this series and that's what we want to do."
