SOUNDBITE (English) Steve Clifford, Charlotte Hornets head coach (on the performances of Jeremy Lin and Cody Zeller):
"Yeah, Jeremy Lin was terrific. I thought in both halves his pushing the ball transition (was good), his pick-and-roll game. And Cody (Zeller) is really playing at another level here in pre-season."
SOUNDBITE (English) Steve Clifford, Charlotte Hornets head coach (on Jeremy Lin's defensive performance):
"I am just going to let him go…no, a lot like tonight, I think that he can score in different ways. One in the open court, his strength obviously is his pick-and-roll game, but I also think that he can play off screening action, and we are going to start to do that more and more with him."
SOUNDBITE (English) Glenn "Doc" Rivers, LA Clippers head coach (on if his players fit in their positions in the game):
"Well I was not happy with the way anybody played tonight and I thought Charlotte played so much harder than us and with a better spirit. So it's going to take us time, and that is a work-in-progress."
SOUNDBITE (English) Jeremy Lin, Charlotte Hornets guard (on his distance shooting):
"Actually to be honest, if I was to be totally honest, I am not that happy with how I'm shooting from distance. I think I have been able to get a lot of really good shots, and I felt like I can hit even more. But I do think that, for me, the fluidity of the motion is definitely something that, as long as I keep at it, I think that three games is a small sample size. As long as I keep it it - it feels good, I am confident in the new shot and then I think, for me, hopefully in the future, it'll start falling even more."
