Intro:
Postgame reaction after the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Houston Rockets 124-99 night for a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference semi-finals.
Script:
SOUNDBITE (English): Doc Rivers, Clippers head coach (on the play of reserve Austin Rivers, his son, who scored 25 points in the win)
"It was great I mean it was needed he was just very aggressive and that's what we've been telling him to do and he was that I thought it started with his defensive rebounding honestly and that got him into the game but it was important really because it allowed us to keep CP (Chris Paul) at the minutes that was huge for us so in a lot of ways the scoring and all that was great we love it but the big picture was we allowed CP to get back in this series now feel comfortable and not overextend himself so all that was great."
SOUNDBITE (English): Kevin McHale, Rockets head coach
"You know you're gonna have nights like that man unfortunately we couldn't get shots to go and we didn't have any flow really James (Harden) was the only guy that was kind of making plays for us in the half court we weren't running we weren't getting stops we did not play very well and you give them credit they did play well our turnover they ran off it and we did not do a good job of handling all the pressure all the things that came with that little bit of a run we just let go of the rope and they piled on us."
SOUNDBITE (English): Chris Paul, Clippers guard (returned from a hamstring injury to bolster the Clippers with 12 points and seven assists after he missed the first two games of the series)
"I got through, I got through this is the point of the season where nobody's 100-percent if I could give anything to get out there and help the team then I wanted to do it and....cool."
