Austria's Stefan Kraft soars to victory in FIS Ski Jumping World Cup event in Lahti, Finland on Sunday (8th March).
Script:
Going into the Lahiti stage of the Ski Jumping World Cup Peter Prevc led the standings.
The man closest to him was Severin Freund. The German jumped for 126m in the first round and then took the lead with a 126.5m jump.
Rising star of the sport - Stefan Kraft - jumped 127m on his first jump and then an impressive 133.5 to lead overall.
The 21-year-old was looking for his second win of the calendar year following his victory in Poland back in January.
The one remaining man who could overtake the Austrian was Anders Fannemel.
The Norwegian needing a jump of 130 metres plus to win the Finland world cup event.
Fannemel could only find a 122m jump and would finish in third.
The German Freund taking second.
While Kraft took the title. In the overall standings Prevc leads following his fourth placed finish.
