Intro:
Three of the four titles available at Badminton's German Open went to Danes on finals day in Mulheim an der Ruhr.
Script:
The top two seeds met in the women's final at the German Open. South Korean Sung Ji Hyun won the first game against Carolina Marin 21-15.
The Spaniard responded, this smash helped on her way to taking the next 21-14.
But Sung dominated the decider, she dropped just 6 points before dropping to her knees in celebration.
The men's final was also won by the top seed, Jan O Jorgensen won the first game of his final against Indonesia's Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka 21-12.
The Dane was just as good in the second, he won it 21-13. He may have been facing an unseeded opponent but just look what it meant to him.
There was certain to be a Danish winner in the mixed doubles - and it was Mads Pieler Kolding & Kamilla Rytter Juhl who shocked top seeds Joachim Fischer Nielsen & Christinna Pedersen.
Rytter Juhl and Pedersen joined up together to give Denmark a hat-trick of wins here, They beat Della Destiara Haris & Rosyita Eka Putri Sari in the women's doubles.
Rytter Juhl's mixed partner Pieler Kolding and Mads Conrad-Petersen made it four wins for the Danes as they beat Vladimir Ivanov & Ivan Sozonov to win the men's doubles. A good day to be a Dane in Germany.
