SOUNDBITE: (English) Jan O Jorgensen (talking about his performances this season):
"This was really an up-and-down season, really a lot of lows but I won the European championship and that's was a pride moment for me to win that one and that's a high achievement -- and that's the one that I want to put my name on. And especially winning Indonesia, just thinking about it makes me smile, that was the peak of my career so far, and I have played so great and I didn't drop a single game and everything just worked out so I would call this my best season ever. Number three in the world ranking -- the highest-ever, so without having a full good year, this has been my best year so far."
SOUNDBITE(English) Hans-Kristian Vittinghus (talking about impact of Lee Chong Wei and Li Dan's absence at the event):
"I think all the guys here are world-class players. If you are being caught having banned substance in your body, then you shouldn't be allowed to play. So, I think it is fair to have investigate and see what really happened with Chong Wei and as far as he is positive with the test of course he shouldn't play and this is same to everyone in badminton as a sport. I still hope he is innocent but we will see. With Lin Dan, if you don't start playing all the tournament, I don't think you deserve to be here, to be honest. Of course, it gave the rest of us a better chance but I think we also earned our rights to be here. If I won the whole event, I won't be less happy no matter who is here, you can only beat the guys they put in front of you and this is what I am trying to achieve."
