"I mean this Olympic Agenda came out ten days ago so it's all new for PyeongChang that this possibility exists but also we have been guessing now for the last year how can we reduce the cost for the Olympic Organising Committees and I think this is a perfect example of how you can reduce cost. I mean you really have to look at the legacy of a sliding centre - will you use it afterwards - because that's where the costs come in. It's very expensive to keep it."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Guilla Lindberg, Chair of the Coordination Commission for the 2018 Winter Olympics:

"It was a part of my report (presented to the Executive Board) and part of my report for PyeongChang. As I said, the Olympic Agenda is not approved yet, hopefully it will get approved tomorrow and on Tuesday here. After that the upcoming Organising Committees, Rio, PyeongChang and Tokyo can make use of the proposals that are in the agenda."
