With the second round cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, first round leader Roman Koudelka was handed victory at the men's ski jumping World Cup at Lillehammer in Norway on Sunday (7 December).

    Script:

Czech champion Roman Koudelka earned his second victory of the season after a canceled round automatically handed him a win in the men's ski jumping World Cup.

The stakes were initially put on Slovenia's Peter Prevc, who earned a safe 149.9 points to catapult him into first place.

Michael Hayboeck came close with 149.4 points, and finished second in the event.

However, in came Koudelka, and his jump was awarded a whopping 153.9 points. This threw him ahead of everyone else into first place in the event in Lillehammer, Norway.

The fate of the end result was put into question as the second round was postponed due to severe weather. But confusion later turned into great news for Koudelka as it ended up being canceled, a feat which automatically handed the Czech a victory and first place on the podium.

Koudelka tops the overall leaderboard, with Prevc and Hayboeck sitting in fourth and fifth place.
