Peter Prevc headed into the Norway leg of the ski jumping World Cup visits sitting in second place behind Kamil Stoch at the top of the season's standings.

However, of the 50 competing jumpers, only the top 30 advanced to the second round of jumps and the Slovenian was not amongst that number, which saw him lose ground in the title race.

Andreas Kofler was leading after the Austrian cleared 131.5 metres for a combined score of 264.9 points but he was soon replaced by crowd favourite Anders Bardal, who cleared 131 metres second time around and recorded a winning score of 269.3 points.

Leading after the first round, Roman Koudelka of the Czech Republic made the final jump.

Koudelka didn't get near his first round jump of 137 metres though and that lead to the fans in the stands erupting as they began celebrating a home victory for Norwegian Bardal, who moved up into fifth place in the standings.
