Christopher Burton of Australia and Germany's Christian Ahlmann took the honours on the sixth day of Equestrianism's Nations Cup Series in Aachen, Germany on Saturday.

The World Equestrian Festival continued in the German town of Aachen on Saturday, and on day six of the competition, the Eventers and Showjumpers were on show.

In Eventing, Britain's Laura Collett was in a strong position to take a notable title following strong performances in the dressage and cross-country phases.

She did however have to settle for third place behind Australia's Christopher Burton and Germany's reigning world and European champion Michael Jung.

In the pure Showjumping event, there was a home victory for Christian Ahlmann, who finished second in the Warsteiner feature class on Wednesday.

The Aachen World Equestrian Festival concludes on Sunday and features further Dressage and Showjumping competition.
