Ronaldo's Brilliant Response When Asked If He Preferred Having Sex Or Winning The World Cup

Legendary Brazilian Ronaldo suggested that lifting the 2002 World Cup was much more rewarding than sex, despite saying both are "very hard to go without."

Brazil were crowned world champions with a 2-0 victory over Germany at the International Stadium Yokohama in Japan.

And Ronaldo, who captured the Golden Shoe, capped off his fine form with a brace in the final against Germany.

The former Brazil striker admitted that he doesn't "think sex could ever be as rewarding as winning the World Cup."

Ronaldo told The Guardian: "Both are very hard to go without, but I don't think sex could ever be as rewarding as winning the World Cup.

"It's not that sex is not great; just that the World Cup is only every four years and sex is a lot more regular than that."

The two-time Ballon d'Or winner said that capturing his second World Cup was a "wonderful moment that before I could not even dream of."

He continued: "But this would never have happened were it not for my teammates. There is nothing that can break the resolve of this group of players."

Ronaldo has openly talked about his sex life when he played football and argued it didn't affect his performances in a negative way.

Instead, the two-time World Cup winner claims sex before a match 'helped him concentrate' and he "played better because I had sex before them."

The former Real Madrid striker told Brazilian TV: "I have had sex several times before some games. It helps you concentrate.

"Not all the coaches let you have sex before a match, though.

"I have noticed that in some games that I played better because I had sex before them."

Ronaldo continued to defend his position on sex not affecting his performances, but the Brazilian did make a surprising admission in 2011.

"Nobody can prove that sex affects performance on the field," he told Spanish newspaper Sport.

"[However], masturbation is more tiring."
