ARSENAL are only willing to sell defender Laurent Koscielny if a potential suitor matches their valuation for him.

After nine years at Arsenal, it finally looks like Koscielny will leave this summer.

The Frenchman has been through highs and lows with the Gunners, winning two FA Cups, but also sticking with them through their drop out of regular Champions League football.

Koscielny spent a fair chunk of last year recovering from a ruptured achilles tendon which left him sidelined for about six months.

He recovered well though, cementing his place in Unai Emery’s first XI, despite many doubting he would return to become a regular again in the Arsenal first team.

However, his time in a Gunners shirt could soon be coming to an end.

Koscielny shocked fans this week after it was revealed he had refused to join Arsenal on their pre-season tour of the USA.

The club were vocal in their disappointment at his decision, releasing a statement on the matter.

“We are very disappointed by Laurent’s actions, which are against our clear instructions,” Arsenal wrote.

“We hope to resolve this matter and will not be providing any further comment at this time.”

Following the sudden dispute, several clubs are keen to swoop in for the unsettled 33-year-old.

The Standard claim Ligue 1 sides Bordeaux, Rennes and Lyon are all weighing up a deal for Koscielny.

Arsenal have slapped an £8.8m price tag on his head, and are unlikely to budge from that valuation.

And the report states that Emirates bigwigs are yet to receive an offer for him.

Koscielny has just one year left on his current contract.

And should Arsenal fail to sell him this summer, one option the player could explore is to buy himself out of his deal to make him a free agent.
