Ronaldo approves Man Utd deal

Cristiano Ronaldo has approved Juventus' transfer pursuit of Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.

It was claimed earlier this weekend that Juventus had registered an interest in the Belgium international, who is also wanted by Inter Milan.

Lukaku wants to leave Manchester United after being told by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he will be Marcus Rashford's deputy.

And The Sun claim Ronaldo has given his blessing for Juventus to try and sign the striker this summer.

Arsenal exit?

Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi has stoked rumours he may be on his way out of Emirates Stadium with a change to his Instagram profile.

On his Instagram profile, the 27-year-old used to have the bio 'Player for Arsenal'.

However, he distanced himself on the club on Sunday by removing the short description.

Unai Emery reportedly wants to sell the centre-back after losing patience with him last season.

Klopp worry

Liverpool chiefs are worried that Jurgen Klopp will reject their offer of a long-term contract extension.

Liverpool bosses are worried that Jurgen Klopp will not agree to their offer of a new contract despite talk of a huge pay-rise on a deal that could be worth £60million, due to a fear of burning out.

According to The Sun, Fenway Sports Group are desperate to tie Klopp's future to Anfield after he secured two Champions League finals in as many seasons while narrowly missing out on a Premier League title last term.

The proposed new deal would see his pay packet rise to £10m per year from £7m per year, with a six-year deal that would cost the club £60m.

Liverpool offers

Liverpool have received numerous offers for Nathaniel Clyne.

However, the Liverpool Echo say the Reds could snub all the bids and keep hold of the right-back.

Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and West Ham are all chasing the defender, who was loaned out to the Cherries last season.

Clyne is out of contract next summer.

Fernandes to Man Utd twist?

Man Utd target Bruno Fernandes has joined up with his Sporting Lisbon team-mates ahead of their pre-season tour of Switzerland.

The player was pictured smiling and joking with team-mates before the side jetted off to Switzerland, where they will play Rapperswil on Wednesday before taking on St Gallen on Saturday.

Sporting posted a video on Twitter of the club captain posing for a photo, captioned: "See you soon, Switzerland!"

Fernandes was selected as part of Marcel Keizer's 29-man squad making the trip central Europe amid speculation over his future, which is expected to continue over the coming weeks.

West Ham meet release clause

West Ham have met the €50m (£44.8m) release clause for Celta Vigo ace Maxi Gomez.

Sky Sports claim the Hammers want Gomez to replace Marko Arnautovic.

Talks are ongoing between West Ham and Celta Vigo.

West Ham cannot trigger the release clause until the amount is paid at La Liga HQ in Madrid.

Aston Villa plan

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith wants three more signings after landing Tyrone Mings.

The Telegraph say Villa want two or three more arrivals once Mings completes his move.

Villa are eyeing Kalvin Phillips, Said Benrahma and Adam Webster this summer.

However, the newly-promoted side have been haggling transfer fees in recent weeks for the trio.

Bruno Fernandes to Man Utd boost

Bruno Fernandes expects to join Man Utd this summer.

Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha claim Fernandes expects to seal a move to Old Trafford.

He is said to be 'calm' about the situation and thinks he will end up moving to United sooner, rather than later.

The player's agent Miguel Pinho has been in London to hold talks with interested clubs.

Maguire development

Man City have pulled out of the race to sign Harry Maguire, The Sun claim.

Man Utd now lead the race to land the Leicester centre-back.

However, United will have to pay £85million for the defender to convince Leicester to sell.

The Red Devils have already had a £70m bid rejected for the England international.

Man Utd identify Pogba replacement

Man Utd want Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to replace Paul Pogba at Old Trafford.

United star Pogba is wanted by Real Madrid this summer, with the La Liga giants eager to make him their latest Galactico.

And Spanish newspaper Marca say United have told Real Madrid they will only let him go when they land Milinkovic-Savic.

The Serbia international was seen by Jose Mourinho as a potential Pogba replacement during the Portuguese's Old Trafford reign.

United appear to have reignited their interest in the Lazio star, who has also been linked with Juventus.

Arsenal table bid

Arsenal have tabled a second bid for Saint-Etienne centre-back William Saliba.

Saliba, 18, is considered one of the hottest defensive prospects in European football and Arsenal had a £22.5m (€25m) offer rejected earlier in the window.

But that has not deterred The Gunners, who have now tabled a second bid, believed to be worth £26.9m (€30m), according to Yahoo Sport France.

Arsenal face competition from Wolves for the defender this summer.

Liverpool signing backed

Liverpool have been tipped to sign free agent Dani Alves this summer by Kleberson.

He said: "I wanted to get Dani Alves to join me in the MLS! He's a phenomenal player with amazing quality.

"I feel maybe could fit in well at Liverpool and Klopp would like him as a style of player.

"He's very technical, fast and has an incredible temperament in the big games. He's a winner."

Transfer news LIVE: Callum Hudson-Odoi is no closer to signing a new deal at Chelsea

Chelsea exit

Callum Hudson-Odoi is no closer to signing a new deal and remains Bayern Munich's priority this summer, Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth claims.

"From the outside you'd have to say Callum Hudson-Odoi is more likely to stay under Frank Lampard than he would have been under Maurizio Sarri," Sheth said on the Transfer Talk podcast.

"Sarri said, in various news conferences, that Callum Hudson-Odoi will reach his peak a 23,24.

"This guy wants to play now, he's seen the likes of Jadon Sancho go off to Borussia Dortmund, becoming a central figure in that team, become a central figure in the England team as well.

"That started to happen for Callum Hudson-Odoi the more he played towards the back end of last season. Of course he, like [Ruben] Loftus-Cheek, has got that injury.

"But on the flip side of it all, the spectre of Bayern Munich remains. He remains Bayern Munich's No 1 target.

"They've had four bids rejected now over the last two transfer windows, the latest of which is around £22.5m."
