Man Utd given De Ligt hope after PSG twist

MATTHIJS DE LIGT’s agent Mino Raiola has blasted reports that he travelled to France to broker a deal for his client to join Paris Saint-Germain.

De Ligt has been heavily linked with a move to PSG, after he was reportedly offered a contract worth upwards of £280,000-per-week.

Those reports were escalated on Wednesday as an image of the super-agent in Paris with French journalist Lassana Camara appeared on social media.

He spoke to Italian media outlet ANSA and denied having met anyone in Paris.

"This is the classic example of fake news,’ Raiola said.

"The photograph of me and the French journalist in Paris? He asked me to take a picture together, but I did not know who this gentleman was.

"I have never spoken with him.”

Chelsea will not sign Philippe Coutinho

Chelsea have decided against signing Philippe Coutinho after initial discussions with Barcelona, it has been claimed.

The former Liverpool midfielder has failed to impress at the Nou Camp since he made the move to the Spanish champions in January last year.

And as a result Coutinho could be sold this summer.

Chelsea were looking at the Brazil international as a possible replacement for Eden Hazard who has joined Real Madrid for an initial £89million.

But any move for Coutinho would mean the Blues’ transfer ban would have to be frozen or lifted.

FIFA have stopped Chelsea from signing players in the next two windows for breaking rules when it comes to signing young players.

The Sun claim the Blues have given up on Coutinho though as they are resigned to the fact their transfer ban will not be resolved in time to complete a deal.

Liverpool have Ryan Kent plan

Liverpool will use Manchester United signing Daniel James to help them make a transfer decision during the current window.

The Red Devils announced the arrival of the Wales international on Wednesday for a fee thought to be around £15million.

And Liverpool are set to use that as a guide in any sale of Ryan Kent this summer.

The 22-year-old impressed on loan at Rangers last season and is in demand as a result.

Steven Gerrard wants to bring Kent in permanently while Leeds are also interested in signing the winger.

Kent was voted Scotland’s Young Player of the Year after making 43 appearances for Rangers.

Goal claim he is keen on a permanent switch to Gerrard’s side or he wants to stay at Anfield to fight for his place at Liverpool.

The Reds have set an asking price of £12m after seeing the price paid by United for James.

Barcelona to sign Antoine Griezmann

Antoine Griezmann will join Barcelona from Atletico Madrid this summer despite rumoured interest from Manchester United.

That’s according to Atletico CEO Gil Marin, who has known Griezmann’s future since March.

The French forward announced he would leave the La Liga club this summer.

And, after a summer of speculation last year, it appears Barcelona have finally got their man.

“We’ve known since March where [Antoine] Griezmann will play,” Marin said. “At Barcelona.”

Real Madrid look to sell 10 to fund Paul Pogba move

Manchester United are facing a fight to keep hold of Paul Pogba this summer with Real Madrid interested in the midfielder.

The Red Devils want £150million for the World Cup winner but it is claimed Los Blancos are preparing a £135m bid.

Pogba has been criticised for his inconsistent performances at Old Trafford and could be allowed to leave.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is conducting an overhaul of his squad and just completed the £15m signing of Daniel James from Swansea.

And in order to sign Pogba, Real Madrid are trying to sell 10 players to find a raid for the France international.

The Daily Star claim Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, Dani Ceballos, Mateo Kovacic, Lucas Vazquez, Borja Mayoral, Martin Odegaard, Raul de Thomas, Marco Asensio and Isco could all leave the club.
