Danny Rowe nets stunning winner for AFC Fylde

A stunning second-half strike from Danny Rowe saw AFC Fylde kick off their Vanarama National League campaign with a 2-1 home victory over Bromley.
Omar Bugiel and Jordan Higgs threatened for the visitors early on but Fylde got a grip on proceedings as the half wore on and only a fingertip save from David Gregory kept Rowe out in the 28th minute.
On the stroke of half-time, the Coasters made the breakthrough as Andy Bond tapped into an empty net from close range when Bromley failed to clear a cross.
Higgs equalised for the Ravens in the 63rd minute. After nutmegging Neill Byrne, he slid the ball under home goalkeeper Jay Lynch from a tight angle.
Rowe’s winner caught Bromley cold only four minutes later, though, with the man who scored 28 goals for Fylde last season bending a fantastic effort into the top corner.
