Real Madrid are reportedly looking to offload Gareth Bale
That would amount to a £150million cash-plus-player package for the Spurs goal-machine.
Spurs reluctantly sold Bale, 28, to Real four years ago for £85m.
They have an agreement with the Madrid club that they will be informed of any offer from another Premier League club – and have the option to match it.
Manchester United have regularly been linked with Bale – and have always wanted Kane, 24.
But the Daily Star Sunday understands the fear at Old Trafford is that England striker Kane will move to Madrid – with Bale possibly going the other way.
There will be no deal of that nature in this transfer window.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and boss Mauricio Pochettino are adamant that Kane is staying.
Harry Kane is wanted at the Bernabeu
Bale’s Real wages of £300k-a-week PLUS would also be a major problem.
But Bernabeu interest in Kane is growing with every goal he scores and Real WILL investigate ways of signing him.
Real are considering selling Bale as a result of the number of matches he misses through injury.
