PSG star Neymar agrees deal to join Real Madrid - report in Spain
NEYMAR has agreed a deal to sign for Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

Diario Gol claim that the Brazilian is set to sign for Los Blancos in time for the 2019/20 season.

Club president Florentino Perez has told the 25-year-old he'll pay a world-record £222m and make him the world's highest-paid player to bring him to the Bernabeu.

Neymar wants to stay in France for two seasons and win the Champions League and Ballon d'Or before returning to La Liga.

He left Barcelona in the summer because he wanted to be the main man and was frustrated at being in Lionel Messi's shadow.

The former Santos star joined PSG for £198m and has formed a lethal frontline in Ligue 1 alongside fellow forwards Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe.

If Neymar does complete a move to Real, it could spell the end of Cristiano Ronaldo's time at the club.

Zinedine Zidane's side are desperate for new signings after a disappointing first half of the season that sees them trail La Liga leaders Barcelona by 14 points.

Fans are keen for a marquee 'Galactico' signing, having not had one since Gareth Bale joined in 2013.

The former Tottenham winger and striker Karim Benzema have been linked with exits and Neymar's signing could be the catalyst for a major shake-up at Real.

Diario Gol report that Perez has been negotiating with Neymar's dad and is hopeful a deal can be completed.

Despite plans to bring him in for summer 2019, Perez is still hopeful an agreement can be made to complete the transfer earlier.
