Man Utd boss Mourinho: Forget Dier, I always wanted Matic

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho insists he always wanted to sign Nemanja Matic ahead of Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino reveals in his new book that he felt Mourinho was trying to sign Dier as early last season.
But Mourinho insists former Chelsea midfielder Matic was the player he always wanted.
"I have the player that I want to have," Mourinho said of the defensive midfielder.
"Probably I have the player that I didn't think it was possible to have, but in the end we got the player that I really wanted."
