The Barcelona star, 30, and his brunette beau Antonella Roccuzzo, 29, got married earlier this year.

And they are as close as ever judging by the series of cheeky Instagram pics uploaded this week.

Messi and Roccuzzo shared four snaps of themselves using various cheeky Instagram filters.

These included them with mouse and bear ears and a racing car helmet as they beam down the camera lens.

And they captioned the post, with over 3.3 million likes, with the phrase: “Bored, missing the children.”

Instagram users were in stitches over the pics.

One wrote: "Mr Messi, I love that!"

While another shared two crying laugh emojis, adding: "OK Messi you're messing with people's heads."

Another questioned Messi's antics, saying: "Come on you're 30 years old!"

Messi and Barcelona are looking for seven straight wins in all competitions when they face Girona today.

Manager Ernesto Valverde confirmed the legend will play.

He has scored a staggering 11 times in his last five games, including Tuesday night's four-goal display against Eibar.

"You don't normally take out a player who has scored four goals in that last match and, in fact, I will not be doing that," Valverde said.

"He's an exceptional player and we have the great fortune to be able to watch him and enjoy the things he does because no one would imagine that a player could do all that."

Girona president Delfi Geli is eagerly awaiting the first clash with their neighbours but admits stopping Messi will difficult.

He told Marca: "Leo Messi is almost impossible to stop.

"We are going to suffer with him but we are in the the first division and we knew that we had to compete against him and against other players and teams of great quality.

"To face Barca or Madrid is a great challenge for (the players)."
