With Real Madrid keen to maximise revenue in the constant financial battle with Manchester United, Los Blancos have renewed their sponsorship deal with Emirates a year ahead of schedule and will receive 70 million euros per year as part of the new agreement.
The club didn't wish to wait until the current contract expired and the new agreement will run until the end of the 2021/22 season.
Under the new terms, Real Madrid triple their shirt sponsorship profits and surpass Manchester United's deal with Chevrolet of 62m euros per year.
According to Palco23, the deal is not yet official, although the economic side of the renewal has been agreed between the two parties.
Next on the agenda for the European champions is to close on a renewal agreement with Adidas as the club's official sportswear manufacturer.
Talks with the German company have already begun and it is suspected that a deal could be closed in the coming days.
Real Madrid's objective on that front is to earn more than Barcelona did in their latest deal with Nike, a figure thought to be around 105m euros.
