Barcelona fans are currently scrabbling round in search of any sign that Neymar won't be leaving the club for Paris Saint-Germain, so it won't have helped when the Brazilian posted a photo of himself deep in thought on Thursday night.
What makes it worse, arguably, is that PSG midfielder Marco Verratti 'liked' the Instagram image ahead of potentially becoming the winger's new teammate.
In fact, there are some who believe that Neymar's 222 million euro move to France is linked with the Italian's switch to Catalonia, following months of interest in his signature.
Meanwhile, Barcelona prepare for their pre-season game with Juventus at their training camp in New Jersey, where the photo was taken, and the player himself remains officially silent on the issue.
Only time will tell if the numerous questions raised over this summer saga will get answered, and which set of fans will be satisfied by the outcome.
