Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata are both on Manchester United's radar

MANCHESTER UNITED will make moves for Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata, reports claim.

Jose Mourinho is keen to strengthen his strikeforce, and is targeting a new No9 as Zlatan Ibrahimovic could leave.

With the Swede not expected to return to action until 2018 and Wayne Rooney seemingly heading for the Old Trafford exit door, a striker has been identified as a priority for the summer window.

Lukaku has emerged as a target as he has so far refused to sign a new deal with Everton.

However, the Toffees supposedly won't accept less than £100million for him.

Real Madrid hitman Morata has also been sounded out as a potential target after struggling to get regular game time under Zinedine Zidane this term.

Although Antoine Griezmann remains their top target, Mourinho is keeping his options open.

The Daily Mail claim the Portuguese tactician is weighing up the option of signing Morata AND Lukaku.

Both players have worked under Mourinho previously so know what he's like.

Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic's agent, Mino Raiola, admitted that while his client might not stay at United, he wants to continue in the Premier League.

He said: "Oh, yes. He wants to stay in England, he wants to stay at the top and if he sees that he can be a valuable asset for Manchester United, then why not Manchester United?

"He can be a valuable asset for some other top clubs also.

"But I think it is respectful to talk to Manchester United and to see what all parties want."
