Zlatan Ibrahimovic's grim looking injury against Anderlecht last week has left a lot of people fearing for his career.
At 35-years-old knee ligament damage is a hammer blow to his hopes of playing again for Manchester United, with a new one-year deal in the offing beforehand.
He remains defiant and insists only he will make a decision on his future, but things don't look good in reality.
And his former AC Milan team-mate Ronaldinho has reached out to his friend to pass on a heartfelt message in his time of need.
The Brazilian legend, who spent the 2011/2012 season with Ibrahimovic at the San Siro, took to Instagram on Monday night to offer his support.
The message directly translates as: "My partner @Ibra_official, I wish you all strength. I'm rooting for your recovery.
"I hope to see you soon enchanting us with your football."
Ibrahimovic's absence is a huge blow to United in their bid to reach next season's Champions League, particularly after firing 28 goals in all competitions this season.
United, however, have bounced back since the news of his long lay off after clinching progress to the Europa League semi-finals and earning a hard-fought 2-0 win at Burnley on Sunday.
