AC Milan Are Planning A Massive Summer Spree After Takeover

AC Milan have been lurched in mediocrity for a number of years now.
The club have won a total of seven European Cups/Champions Leagues as well as 18 Serie A titles - meaning they are the joint most successful club in Italian football.
Yet in recent years, the quality of players coming into the club has dropped considerably and the great Milan have become a sleeping giant.
However, there's optimism for AC Milan fans thank to the new Chinese owners that have now completely their takeover from Silvio Berlusconi.
Rossoneri Sport Investment Lux are now the parent company of the club and they are planning a big spending €130 million spree in order to get the club back into the big-time.
As well as looking to tie key players Suso, Mattia De Sciglio and Gianluigi Donnarumma to new deals, according to Corriere Dello Sport, AC have a huge transfer shortlist for the summer window.
The real focus for Milan in the summer is to acquire a top-level striker who can be relied upon for the goods in attack, with Colombian forward Carlos Bacca likely to leave.
The club have been linked with an ambitious move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, and his teammate Alvaro Morata is also on a shortlist that contains Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Central midfield is also an area where Milan want to strengthen. Cesc Fabregas has been heavily linked with a move to the San Siro, while former Inter man Mateo Kovacic, Luiz Gustavo, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Roma legend Daniele De Rossi are also said to be part of the shortlist drawn up.
Finally, in defence, there is talk that Villarreal centre-back Mateo Musacchio is likely to join, and Milan are also looking to bring in a new left-back - Schalke's Sead Kolasinac, out of favour Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno and Torino's Antonio Barreca are the names being linked.
It's certainly going to be a big summer for Milan under their new ownership and you can expect a whole host of players to be linked with the Italian giants in the coming months.
