MAN CITY boss Pep Guardiola was captured going crazy in the dugout as Monaco sent his side crashing out of the Champions League.
In a frantic game that echoed the first leg, it looked as though City would progress to the quarter-finals after Leroy Sane had scored for the visitors, putting them 6-5 ahead on aggregate.
But Tiemoué Bakayoko headed in the 77th minute to ensure the Ligue 1 team went through on away goals as the match ended 3-1 to Monaco on the night and 6-6 on aggregate.
Video caught the moment Pep watched his Champions League hopes crash when the Monaco midfielder netted.
Man City boss Pep Guardiola was livid when Monaco scored in the Champions League match
The Spaniard turns away from the pitch in disgust and starts punching his right fist into his left hand.
He then beats the top of the dugout with his hands in frustration.
Sitting down he screams in anger and stomps his feet as he realises his team is likely to fail to reach the quarter-finals for the first time in his career.
Heading into the match 5-3 ahead from the first leg, Man City only needed to preserve that scoreline but Pep’s team lined up in an attacking formation with only Fernandinho as a recognised defensive player among the front six.
And Man City were made to pay when their defence was breached by Kylian Mbappé and then Fabinho to give Monaco the advantage.
Sane restored hope to Man City before Bakayoko snuffed it out to leave only Leicester as the Premier League’s representative in the last eight of Europe’s top competition
