Barnet vs Crawley Town - Barnet striker Sam Akinde could make first start for club against Crawley

Barnet manager Kevin Nugent could hand striker Sam Akinde his first start for the club as the Bees look to end a four-game winless run against Crawley.

Akinde, brother of top-scorer John, signed a one-year contract last week and could make his first-team debut at the Hive on Saturday.

Defenders Ricardo Santos and Elliot Johnson are doubts for the game having missed their last few matches through injury.

Goalkeeper Benji Buchel is set to continue in goal while Jamie Stephens (hamstring), Josh Vickers (quad), Jack Taylor (hernia), James Pearson (knee), Michael Gash (knee) and Shaun Batt (quad) are all unavailable.

Crawley will hope to have defender Andre Blackman back in their ranks for the trip to north London.

The Red Devils have only won two of their last 10 league outings but Blackman could return having missed the previous two games through injury.

Manager Dermot Drummy could also be boosted by the return of both Jordan Roberts and Matt Harrold, with the latter missing since December with an Achilles problem.

Striker Rhys Murphy will be pushing to remain in the side after he was named in the starting XI for last weekend's defeat at Portsmouth - making his first start since returning to the club for a second loan spell.
