Rotherham vs Wigan - Richard Wood and Izzy Brown back in contention for Rotherham against Wigan

Rotherham will have Richard Wood and Izzy Brown available for the Boxing Day clash with Wigan.

Wood has won his appeal against a red card in last weekend's defeat to Sheffield Wednesday so will not have to serve a ban while Brown is back after a hamstring injury kept him out at Hillsborough.

Kirk Broadfoot could make his long-awaited return to the squad after back surgery which has sidelined him since the opening day of the season.

Lee Camp (knee), Greg Halford (ankle) and Jonson Clarke-Harris (knee) continue to miss out.

A hamstring injury looks likely to keep Nick Powell out of Wigan's festive programme, according to manager Warren Joyce.

The former Manchester United man has been absent since late November and is unlikely to play for several weeks yet due to a persistent problem.

Luke Burke and Kyle Knoyle will not be rushed back from injury to cover for the problems at right-back, despite the former making the bench against Ipswich.

Stephen Warnock filled in on the right, with Andy Kellett slotting in on the left, while Donervon Daniels (knee) and Alex Gilbey (ankle) also out injured.
