Yeovil vs Exeter - Ward and Dolan return for Glovers

Yeovil could welcome Darren Ward and Matty Dolan back to their squad ahead of their Boxing Day clash with Exeter.

Ward and Dolan have been nursing respective knee and hamstring injuries but Glovers boss Darren Way revealed that both men are edging closer to returning to action.

"I can't promise they're going to start but they're looking good," Way told the club's official website.

"They're training hard and a getting a sweat on every day so for me, that shows a desire that they're going to be back on the field very soon."

Exeter are expected to keep changes to a minimum after finally recording their first home league win of the season against Mansfield.

The Grecians are unbeaten in four games - winning three of them - and boss Paul Tisdale seems to have hit on a successful formula with Exeter in a season-high 15th place.

Jordan Moore-Taylor and Troy Brown should continue their central defensive partnership with the former now over a recent illness.

But Jordan Tillson (ankle) and Luke Croll (concussion) were both back on the bench against Mansfield, and Pierce Sweeney, Troy Archibald-Henville and Tom McCready are all close to returns.
