Hoffenheim recovered from going 3-0 and 4-1 down to grab a 4-4 draw in a spectacular game with 10-man Mainz on Sunday.
A brace from Pablo De Blasis and Jhon Cordoba's 27th-minute effort gave the hosts a commanding lead within half an hour.
Sandro Wagner pulled one back for the visitors in the 39th minute, but Levin Oztunali restored Mainz's three-goal advantage two minutes before half time.
A red card to Mainz's Gaetan Bussmann gave Hoffenheim some hope, and they made the very most of their extra man with Mark Uth scoring two goals in as many minutes to bring Julian Nagelsmann's men right back into the game.
Adam Szalai then brought them level in the 84th minute, rounding off the scoring and earning Hoffenheim an unlikely point.
