Stevenage Borough vs Barnet - Loan signing Lee Cox set to start for Stevenage against Barnet
Posted Friday, January 22, 2016 by PA
Stevenage have added defender Luke Wilkinson to their squad for the clash with Barnet.
Boss Teddy Sheringham snapped up the centre-half from Luton on Friday afternoon.
Midfielder Lee Cox should also be involved after he re-signed for Boro from Plymouth earlier this week.
Sheringham, whose side have not won since December 12, will be without Ben Kennedy for the rest of the season after he was ruled out with a knee injury.
Barnet's in-form striker John Akinde will be available as they travel to Broadhall Way this weekend after he extended his contract with the club.
The 26-year-old had been linked with a move to Championship side Wolves but manager Martin Allen confirmed earlier in the week that he would be staying.
Leicester defender Alie Sesay and MK Dons midfielder Mark Randall will be looking for their first starts for the Bees after coming on in the second half of their 0-0 draw with Carlisle last weekend following their loan moves to the club.
Allen will be without experienced centre-back Michael Nelson (shoulder) for three months and has expressed an interest in signing a defender on loan to cover his absence despite his recovery now expected to be quicker than initially suggested.
