Frosinone scored twice in the second half to down Sampdoria 2-0 and clinch their second win on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts took a 53rd-minute lead thanks to Luca Paganini's header from Danilo Soddimo's cross and they doubled their advantage two minutes later when Federico Dionisi struck a right-footed shot from 20 yards.
Samp, who had seen Luis Muriel's shot hit the post in the sixth minute, could not find a way back and fell to their third defeat of the season.
The victory at the Matusa stadium lifted Serie A newcomers Frosinone out of the relegation zone and into 17th place.
