Montpellier vs Lyonnais preview - Tricky test tipped by Tolisso

Lyon defender Corentin Tolisso expects a tough test against top-four chasing Montpellier on Sunday.

Lyon remain top of the Ligue 1 standings despite a dip in form which has seen them only win one of their last five games.

They travel to sixth-placed Montpellier, who are looking to claim their third successive win after their match against Monaco last week was postponed due to heavy rain.

"We will play against a very good team. They are very good. They have goals," Tolisso told olweb.fr.

"They can come back into the top five. It is going to require a big game to win with style.

"(Lyon midfielder) Yoann Gourcuff could play with Nabil Fekir and Alexandre Lacazette to try to find the fluidity and offensive efficiency.

"Yoann is a very strong player technically. He brings more to the team. It can resolve a match."

Montpellier were boosted ahead of the match after goalkeepers Geoffrey Jourdren and Jonathan Ligali both signed new deals in midweek.

MHSC veteran Jourdren extended his contract for another two seasons while 23-year-old Ligali signed a three-year deal.

Ligali told the club's official website: "I was born in Montpellier, I climbed the ladder of training to the first team, so I'm very happy.

"This is really an extension from the club, a mark of confidence in the long term with a real project for me.

"Now it's up to me to repay their faith and continue to work to go higher."
