Granada CF vs Almeria preview - Almeria aim to end losing run

Almeria coach Francisco is backing his side to recover from a poor run of results with victory over Granada at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes on Monday night.

Almeria have lost their last four in a row and find themselves in 17th in the Primera Division table, with only goal difference keeping them out of the relegation places.

However, Francisco is not concerned by their recent run of results and has been encouraged by their performances.

"We have had a bad run but we have faced, in recent weeks, Barcelona, b b Villarreal, Athletic, teams that are on a different level than ours, but nevertheless we have always competed," the boss told the club's official website.

"With everyone except Villarreal we have not lost by more than one goal. The team are strong mentally. Despite all this, we have not won and we have to face Granada with the determination to do a good job and win the three points."

Granada are a point and a place above their opponents and their coach Joaquin Caparros is not expecting an easy home game.

"It will be a difficult game, with few spaces," he told the club's official website.

"It will be a struggle between two teams that are very similar.

"Almeria are a fluid, strong team that will gain confidence. To try to get the three points we have to play at a high level.

"We must have confidence and trust if we are to get a positive result."
