Shrewsbury maintained their strong home form by hitting back from a goal down to overcome Cheltenham 3-1.
Micky Mellon's men have now won seven and drawn the other of their eight matches at the Greenhous Meadow in all competitions this season.
Cheltenham applied much of the pressure in the first half with Lee Vaughan and on-loan Portuguese youngster Eusebio Bancessi denied by a series of smart saves from Jayson Leutwiler.
The visitors took the lead two minutes into the second half as a long clearance from keeper Trevor Carson released Bancessi who crossed for Byron Harrison to slam home from 10 yards.
Shrewsbury were level just two minutes later when James Wesolowski robbed Troy Brown and played in James Collins to finish coolly from the edge of the box.
Mellon's men were soon in front in the 55th minute with sub Liam Lawrence's drive being flicked home by Andy Mangan.
Nathaniel Knight-Percival made sure of the points after the hour mark when he headed in from Lawrence's corner.
