Ayr Utd. 0 : 1 Dunfermline - El Bakhtaoui fires Pars to summit

Faissal El Bakhtaoui scored his second goal in as many matches as Dunfermline climbed to the top of the Scottish League One table with a 1-0 victory over Ayr.
The Pars almost took the lead after just nine minutes when El Bakhtaoui poked a shot towards goal from the middle of the box but he was to be denied by the post.
The visitors finally broke the deadlock in the 29th minute when El Bakhtaoui's fine strike found the top corner of David Hutton's net from the edge of the penalty area.
Dunfermline could have doubled their lead in the 67th minute but El Bakhtaoui was denied by the woodwork once again - this time he hit the bar - but they held on to overtake Forfar at the top of the table and consign the hosts to their third straight defeat.
