QPR striker Loic Remy is top of Arsene Wenger's list of striker targets this summer, according to French football journalist Julien Laurens.
Speaking with the Transfer Tavern, Laurens noted that both the player and the North London club are keen to make a move happen, and a deal could progress quickly following the World Cup.
"Remy wants to play Champions League football. Arsenal is his favourite destination and he is the forward that Arsene Wenger is following the most closely,"
"He tried to sign him before he went to Marseille a few years back and I think that if he performs well at the World Cup, then things could move quite quickly after that."
Laurens says Wenger may even see something of Gunners great Thierry Henry in Remy:
"Wenger likes his versatility, he can play on the right, on the left and in the centre and he is very much like a young Thierry Henry. I think that's what is appealing for Wenger".
