STEVAN JOVETIC has dismissed talk of a return to Italy – insisting he will stay and repay Manchester City after suffering an injury-plagued first season.
'LL SHOW THEM: Stevan Jovetic has vowed to hit the ground running next season
Juventus, Inter Milan and former club Fiorentina have all been linked to summer swoops.
But Jovetic says he is going nowhere having missed five months of the season following his £22million arrival from Fiorentina, after being struck down with calf, hamstring and groin problems.
Jovetic was linked with a move to Juventus as part of a City deal to capture Paul Pogba, as revealed in the Daily Star Sunday.
But the Montenegro hitman said: “Next season I will hit the ground running and the fans will see the real Jovetic.”
