Livingston 1 : 3 Dumbarton - Sons sink Livi

Posted Sunday, November 17, 2013 by PA

Mitchel Megginson's fifth goal of the season put Dumbarton on their way to a 3-1 win at Livingston.

The home side broke the deadlock in the 20th minute when Marc McNulty's right-footed effort found the back of Jamie Ewings' net.

But Dumbarton equalised on the brink of half-time when young striker Megginson fired in from the left side of the box.

The visitors took the lead seven minutes after the break when Chris Turner scored from the spot after Paul McGinn had been fouled by Connor McDonald.

Sons substitute Bryan Prunty sealed all three points when he bundled in from close range in the 74th minute.
